Branding A New Restaurant Chain

We’re pleased to announce that we have just been appointed to create the identity, branding, advertising, packaging and promo for a brand new restaurant chain that is to launch this summer.

The company, which we have yet to name has just received the keys to it’s first premises, which is a grand four storey 19th century building in the heart of Harrogate. It will be producing fresh ‘n fast food for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a relaxed and friendly environment. They aim to perfect the formula, running the business from this 130+ cover restaurant, before rapid expansion into many other towns and cities.

There are some pretty high profile people behind the venture and all will become clearer as news is released prior to launch.

Our Tastiest Mailshot Yet

If you’re a regular visitor to our blog, you’ll know that we’re pretty relentless when it comes to self promo. Our latest takes the form of a bespoke box packed with a triptych of Dodgers biscuits to coincide with the launch of Toffee and Choccie products.

60 lucky marketeers and brand managers will soon receive these boxes and we’re sure a few biscuits will be shared around.

EDZ Shoot

What a perfect weekend it was for shooting bikers and bikes in the Lake District for EDZ. Big thanks to Tony and Neil at Hein Gericke and their crew of riders for making it down on a day when they could have been tearing up the tarmac. Above is Simon – probably trying to explain how to get a knee down in the bends!

White Lies – Ritual (Album Review)

Ok, it’s been out for a while, but we thought we better tell you just how good this album is. To Lose My Life was the most played album at Robot-food HQ last year (over 100 plays!) and how could the threesome possibly top it with that all too difficult second album. The majority of reviews on iTunes say that this second release is no way near the original, but they’re mistaken. On first listen Ritual falls short against the belting anthems of the original singles, but perceiver and all becomes clear. The songs are slower building, but therefore more complex and every tune soon becomes a winner. Go and buy it or download it now!

New Purpose Built Premises

We are pleased to announce that Robot-food will soon be moving to a new purpose built three storey building that forms part of the Oakdale Business Centre in Harrogate. The move follows massive recent expansion including the hiring of three senior creatives and two key account directors to manage the surge of new international clients.

“We envisage a lot more growth in the coming months. The new studios also house a Thai massage room, jacuzzi and a sauna, which we feel is essential to produce the kind of creative perfection that we strive for”, said Business Operations Director Peter April.

Did Someone Ask For Chocolate?

While checking Twitter and reading through all the positive comments regarding Toffee Dodgers, we noticed a couple of tweets about new ‘Choccie Dodgers’ that have just appeared on shelves in Tesco. Choccie is the third incarnation of the new Dodgers brand we created and is available exclusively through Tescos for the time being.
