Going the extra mile (or 4)

On Saturday Martin and Simon cycled almost 54 miles (after going a little off-piste), in a 50 mile Sportive called Nelson’s Tour De Test Valley, in Hampshire. The annual event is held to raise awareness and money for CALM Campaign Against Living Miserably and almost 1000 people took part, choosing between 3 routes from 25 to 100 miles.

It’s also an opportunity for friends from the UK snowboard community to meet up and remember fallen friend, Nelson Pratt, who tragically died in 2012. It was a fittingly great day in memory of a fantastically great bloke and many beers were consumed in both the carb loading process and in warm down.

With a huge thanks friends and clients we were able to raise £600 for this great charity so that they can continue to offer support to others suffering from depression. Suicide is the greatest killer of men under 45, so please find out more at CALM’s website:
