We worked with Thornton's and Northumbrian Fine Fods to develop a new range of cookies under the Thornton's brand.

The design draws on the heritage of the brand. We gave each card pack the appearance of a traditional glossy biscuit tin, using sweet shop style stripes and a paper label feel holding device over product photography.

Our desoign became the template for the roll-out of all Thorntons licenced products.

Thorntons in-house team brifed us to develop concepts for various product re-designs. These concepts were used in consumer research to help with product positioning and many of our ideas were used in the final designs.

We were also tasked to create an ownable back of pack format that would create interest, promote key messaging and draw attention to things such as direct online ordering. We started by heroing the brand and developed tone of voice, combigned with illustration to seperate indervidual elements. The GDA icon became a cocoa pod, the weight symbol for kids became a baloon and we added product specific interest to the barcodes.
