HOW TO BRAND A RESTAURANT FOR JENSON BUTTON.
As huge Formula 1 fans, we were pretty excited when Jenson Button and his manager Richard Goddard appointed us to brand their new restaurant chain. The brief was to create a chic, original concept, that can be rolled out and become instantly recognisable in any town centre.
We developed an identity that’s bold, with a bespoke, bohemian feel, using 1950′s colours, involving an illustration backdrop by Jono Wood, from our Artist Network. The logo itself comes in five colourways, to allow for signage to vary and for an eclectic feel for packaging. We combined this with branded tone, carried through internal signage and POS and worked on developing the feel for printed menus and the company website.
Our involvement included the production of 3D visuals, to plan internal signage, wall colours, bespoke wallpaper and POS.
As brand guardians, we managed the design and production of all branded material to ensure consistency. We also hand painted internal signage and suggested many of the finishing touches to the interior design.
