Robot Food welcomes new intern Natalia Posnett
At Robot Food, we’re all about discovering the next generation of design talent and offering them hands-on experience in a real agency setting to help them kick-start their careers.
Our internships are fully paid, and interns dive straight into live projects. From day one, they’re treated as part of the team—no mundane tasks like photocopying or coffee runs (unless they want to, of course).
We prioritize mentorship and support, believing that the best way to grow is by learning on the job.
With that in mind, we’re excited to introduce our intern, Natalia, a recent graduate from Nottingham Trent University.
Natalia has seamlessly integrated into the team and has already started working on some exciting projects!
Tell us three things about you that people don’t know
I’m half Polish! I love netball. I’ve played since I was 8 years old, reaching county level. I’m also a certified crisp-lover :) – especially anything “sweet chilli”! And an extra fun fact! - my birthday is 01/02/03
Why Robot Food?
I admire the exciting and coherent visual style of work, especially in the categories of food, drink and fitness brands. It was exciting to meet members of the team at a University show in Leeds and at the D&AD New Blood Festival, they were approachable and friendly!
What are you most looking forward to about your time with us?
Working collaboratively, learning from others and getting to know the team. Learning more about the design process and improving how I approach and tackle creative briefs.
Who are your design heroes?
Moonshine Prints – they have a fun and relatable visual style. It inspires me to create and explore different processes in my spare time.
Jessica Walsh – love the work seen on &Walsh studio. I’m inspired by her ambitious and goal-driven attitude. She highlights how only 5-11% of Creative Director positions are occupied by women and she now joins the 1% of creative agencies that are women-owned!
What inspires you?
Learning about different cultures, travel and personal stories inspires me. Also health, fitness food and lifestyle content creators such as Holly Brooks. I feel motivated by her goals, achievements, active lifestyle and growth mindset.
Robot Food Designer Sam Jepson said, "It's great to have Natalia here with us on her internship, she really impressed when us when seeing her portfolio! Natalia mentioned that she had done a few placements in London, but has a number of internships in the North which is great to see - as this is a real shift from when I graduated, it's fantastic to see more choice available."
“We always fully integrate any new graduates here (not like back in the day when you'd be getting hounded to make teas & coffees haha!) Natalia is getting fully stuck into design concept projects and being a real part of the team - we want this to be as valuable to her as it is for us having Natalia here”
