We’re looking for a Middleweight Copywriter.

We’ve got big plans. Plans that need someone who not only knows how to turn blue sky ideas into succinctly defined manifestos, pillars or TOVS – but can do the same for us as the voice of our agency.

About us:

We build brands that people actually want (that answer a genuine need) for like-minded, progressive clients of all shapes and sizes. Or – if we see an untapped opportunity – for ourselves. Yup, we create our own brands too.

We know everyone says they’re different but we’ve never done ‘agency’ like everyone else.

What we’re looking for:

Ideally, a middleweight copywriter or, at least, a junior with a few years under your belt and ready to take a step up. You’ll have agency experience and a portfolio demonstrating your ability to work across a varied range of projects for different types of clients. (Remember those big plans? They don’t just include packaging.)

As a team, we’re pretty close, so we’re looking for someone with the right qualities:

  • - Enthusiasm is a must. We want someone who can get as excited about our work as we are.
  • - Creative flair and a strategic mind. You can think about the bigger objective and understand the role your words play in it.
  • - Someone with empathy by the buckets and able to put themselves in the shoes of our clients and their consumers.
  • - Gumption, initiative, whatever you want to call it – just as long as you’ve got it. We want someone who can hit the ground, take a brief and run with it.
  • - Someone with their finger on the pulse. You’re curious and interested in the wider world – not just your own world.

The nitty gritty

This is a creative role, helping the brands we work with articulate what makes them different. Catchy straplines, brand bibles, naming… you name it. But as much as we need someone to write for our brands, we need someone to help shout about us as well.


  • - Collaborating with full team to deliver compelling creative copy for a variety of projects and purposes including brand articulation, brand communications, packaging, digital and video.
  • - Working directly with Senior Brand Planner/Copywriter to establish and develop compelling brand narratives.
  • - Developing and implementing impactful tone of voice documents as part of brand building and creation projects.
  • - Ensuring the established tone of voice is followed to the letter throughout entire creative process.
  • - Creation of blog posts, opinion pieces and press releases in line with Robot Food new business plan.
  • - Working with the creative team to create content for Robot Food social media channels.

What’s in it for you:

£24-27k dependent on experience
