Robots that party together…

Robots that party together…

19 December 2018

In January we ring in Robot Food’s 10th Birthday and for that reason, we managed to pull off a bit of a Christmas party extravaganza.

Last Friday morning, with Secret Santa and Simon’s Birthday activities out the way, we all piled into our (big, shiny, party) coach and headed north of Leeds to Camp Hill, for a day of quad trekking, archery and bobsleighing – Cool Runnings style.

We unloaded onto the beautiful Yorkshire countryside to what felt like the most glorious winters day we’d had in months and split into three ultra-competitive teams. A couple of archery near misses, one bobsleigh faceplant and two quadbike Vs tree collisions later, we made it out very happy and very cold with faces aching from laughing (and probably from the faceplant).

With the day’s physical activities truly taking it out of us, we made our way down to the cabins where the fire was (thank god) already roaring. We toasted/incinerated marshmallows, popped some celebratory prosecco and then donned our gladdest rags for our self-issued party theme – glam.

There are no photos to share of the night's events for obvious reasons but you can trust us when we say we had a lovely time.

A massive thanks to Simon and Jess for organising yet another brilliant trip and congrats to the whole team for ringing in 10 years of Robot Food in style.
