Seeing Dubbel – Vocation's Limited Edition 1/12

18 February 2019

We’ve never been afraid to break what ain't broken to make something better and neither have long term clients Vocation Brewery. As part of a wider rebrand looking at their core range, (launching in spring) we've been working on their limited-edition initiative that celebrates a distinctive new beer every month.

Seeing Dubbel, a modern take on the traditional Belgian Dubbel, is the first in the range and offers a glimpse of the new branding and pack architecture. Taking inspiration from its roots, the design for this can borrows its colour palette from the Belgian flag and its lion motif from the Belgium coat of arms.

The dubbel was first brewed in (you guessed it) Belgium in the 19th century, a stronger version of the brown beer brewed in Westmalle Abbey. It grew in popularity after the Second World War due to its incredibly layered drinking experience and decadent dark fruit taste.

Available for a limited time only, catch this beguiling brew before it's all gone in Vocation bars, on their website and in bottle shops. Make sure to watch this space for exciting new work from us and the brewery coming soon!
