Go to school, go to college, go to uni, get a job, get a better job. This sequence of events is ingrained in us from a young age as the ‘right way’ of getting where you want to be. But what about the people who don’t follow the ordinary route? Those who stray from the herd, ignore the life mapped out for them and just figure it out along the way?

The Anti Blueprint Project is a book that celebrates the unconventional career paths of 50 successful people. From Olympic gold medalists to Michelin Star chefs, each person has their own unique story to tell. They discuss what led them to where they are today, the challenges they’ve faced so far and what ‘making it’ means to them. Proving that there’s no such thing as the ‘right way’ of doing something – only your way.

We’re proud to say that one of those 50 people is our Founder & ECD Simon. He talks about starting Robot Food from his dining table with no design experience or funds to fall back on, just a credit card and a bank of creative ideas.

So for anyone still figuring out their own direction or place in the world, this one’s for you. Get your hands on a copy of The Anti Blueprint Project here.
