North Brewing Co. Virtual Tasting Evening

On Friday night we swapped our usual Beer O’Clock for a virtual beer tasting evening courtesy of North Brewing Co.

North Brewing Co. is an independent brewery and family of bars in Leeds. Their core range and seasonal specials encompass everything you want from a beer – big juicy hops, experimental flavour combinations and the best quality classics.

Pre-pandemic you’d regularly catch us enjoying a well-deserved pint or two at their flagship tap room, North Bar (one of our all time favourite haunts). So when the opportunity came to support another Leeds-based business, we couldn’t resist bringing the brewery to us.

Our host for the evening was Kate – and she was brilliant! She gave us an introduction to the brewery and told us everything there is to know about their beers whilst we debated and decided our favourites (essential research for all our boozy projects of course).

The session finished with a virtual tour of their new site, Springwell and the chance for the beer buffs among us to ask any questions.

All in all it was a great evening – we’d highly recommend! Just be prepared for a bit of sore head the next morning...
